Walls

A brick, stone or block and rendered walls can not only make a fantastic boundary to any property but can offer privacy as well as security.
It can also be used to divide areas within your garden, as a decorative feature, or as a retaining wall to create different levels or terraces in your garden.

Brick or Stone Wall

Brick or Stone walls offer a more traditional look and there are many options available.Depending on the project our preference is stone as this looks fantastic but it does come at a price.

Rendered Walls

Rendered walls are usually a cheaper option than brick or stone as they use concrete blocks as a base. They are often used to create a modern contemporary feel or minimalist look.
With smooth or textured render and numerous colours available the design choice is endless.

Repointing

As cement ages it often becomes more porous and driving water can penetrate and be absorbed into it. When the temperature is low enough the water freezes and expands forcing the cement out and leaving gaps in between the bricks. It is important to repair this type of damage as soon as possible either by repairing just the area that is damaged, or by grinding out a larger area of cement and repointing the whole area.

Frequently Asked Questions

We understand finding a reliable reputable builder can be a stressful experience, below are a few quesions to help you make the right choice.

Do you provide architect's drawings?
We do require plans for larger projects/extensions, but we do not provide them. If your project requires drawings/plans we can recommend an experienced local architect.

Do you apply for planning permission?
We do not apply for planning permission on your behalf, but we are able to recommend an experienced architect who can advise you on this process.

Do I need a party wall agreement if I have a semi-detached house?
According To The Law, if your property adjoins your neighbour’s, you will require party wall agreement.
However, in our experience if you inform them you are planning to do works and get their permission this is all that is required.
We recommend you do this one month before the start of your project in case you do need to get a party wall agreement.

How do you handle construction rubbish?
Removal of leftover waste materials can be dealt with a skip, grabber wagon or a waste removal company.
We ensure all waste is disposed of responsibly and adhere to all environmental policies guiding the construction industry.

How much will it cost?
Every project is different. After an initial meeting where we discuss what is required and do a survey we can discuss the cost or provide a quote for the work required.
